Caregiving is a Passion

One needs to be passionate about the job or love spending time with the elderly in order to be able to survive in this caregiving jobs. Imagine spending 8 hrs with your elderly parents or grandparents.

We need to be very articulate about how we spend the time or we will be bored and give in easily. At times the physical and mental state of our patients are demanding a lot of attention and the caregiver is constantly being required to attend.

This is just one case of what a caregiver goes through when they are left totally in charge of more serious clients. The life of the client is totally in the caregivers hands for the hours involved.
